Oil and Natural Gas Platform Recovery
In 2004 and 2005 Hurricanes Ivan, Katrina and Rita toppled over 150 oil and natural gas platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Pfitzco, Inc. has worked with Wild Well Control, Inc. of Houston, Texas in the sub-sea structural removal, recovery, temporary abandonment and permanent abandonment of multiple platforms and wells. Pfitzco’s role in these unprecedented ventures has been to provide on-site engineering expertise and project management throughout the various stages of the projects.
