Bradford Marine Syncrolift Survey and Repair Design
Bradford Marine, Inc., a mega-yacht repair facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida called on Pfitzco, Inc. to survey, rate and design repairs for its state of the art Synchrolift yacht elevator. The Syncrolift, which was designed to accommodate yachts up to 155' in length and 280 tons in weight, had sustained damage to the prestressed concrete piles and concrete bents over the years. Pfitzco engineers performed a structural survey of the device components, and then specified repairs that would ensure that the original capacity rating would remain intact.
